"Come and See" Vocation Discernment Weekends at St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers are designed to allow you the opportunity to pray about a possible vocation to the diocesan priesthood for the Archdiocese of New York. It will afford a man a chance to speak with others discerning a call, an opportunity to hear from and to speak with seminarians both in theology and philosophy who have just entered or are preparing for Priesthood Ordination, as well as a chance to hear from a young priest about his experiences in the ministry. For those who have completed a Discernment Weekend, there will be an abbreviated schedule to allow more time for reflection. We usually end the Spring Weekend with Palm Sunday Mass with the Archbishop at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick.
